As Barback, you play a key role in supporting the artistry behind the bar and ensuring the team delivers a seamless, elevated experience for every guest. Fast-paced yet thoughtful, you anticipate needs before they arise and take pride in keeping Our House running flawlessly. Behind every perfectly crafted cocktail is your precision, focus, and commitment to excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Support bartenders during service by ensuring the bar remains fully stocked, organized, and pristine.

• Maintain inventory of spirits, wine, glassware, ice, and garnishes throughout service.

• Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar, including restocking and cleaning.

• Always uphold Tallow’s standards of polish and presentation.

• Deliver bar supplies and glassware with efficiency and care, maintaining pace and accuracy during peak hours.

• Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all bar areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and management to support smooth service flow.

• Embody professionalism, urgency, and teamwork — treating the bar as an extension of Our House.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Prior bar support or restaurant experience preferred, high-volume or fine dining background a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Must be able to stand for long periodsandlift a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

• Maintain a valid Food Handler’s Certification in the state of New York
