TSDC Trainer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Electrical Trainer to join our team at the Technical Skill Development Centre (TSDC) – a specialized training facility established by PT ODG Indonesia in collaboration with industry and education partners. TSDC is committed to advancing Indonesia’s technical workforce through hands-on, industry-aligned training programs.

As a Trainer, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment and guiding trainees through comprehensive and participatory learning. You will lead the delivery of Electro Technology Skills Sets, both in theory and practice, ensuring that all trainees gain job-ready competencies. You are expected to design and deliver innovative, high-quality, and engaging lessons , while collaborating with curriculum developers, fellow trainers, the training center principal, and trainees to ensure effective training outcomes and long-term impact.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Design and deliver innovative, hands-on training sessions.
• Develop lesson plans and assessments tailored to trainee needs.
• Provide constructive feedback and support trainee development.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams and other trainers.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum D3/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s in Educational Technology is a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience in Electro Technology.
• 2+ years in course development or vocational training.
• Completed electrician training program (with certificate preferred).
• Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian.
• Skilled in instructional delivery, ICT tools, and hands-on electrical work.
• Solid understanding of electrical theory, tools, and safety.
• Comfortable with math and physics related to electrical principles.
• TOT Level 3 or 4 certification is an advantage.
• Growth-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for becoming a future Curriculum Coordinator.
