As we continue expanding our tub and tile resurfacing services, we are seeking an experienced Tub & Tile Resurfacing Technician to join our team.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented technician with experience refinishing bathtubs, showers, tile surrounds, and other bathroom surfaces. The ideal candidate understands proper surface preparation, coating application, and finishing techniques and takes pride in delivering a smooth, durable, professional finish.

This position requires someone who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and consistently meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bathtubs, showers, tile, and surrounding surfaces for resurfacing, including cleaning, sanding, etching when appropriate, and repairing chips or imperfections.
• Apply professional resurfacing coatings using HVLP spray equipment and other appropriate application methods.
• Properly mask and protect surrounding surfaces, fixtures, and flooring.
• Repair minor chips, scratches, cracks, and surface damage before refinishing.
• Ensure consistent coating coverage, smooth finishes, and high-quality results.
• Identify and correct imperfections to meet company quality standards.
• Maintain and clean spray equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Follow manufacturer specifications, proper ventilation requirements, and all applicable safety procedures, including respiratory protection.
• Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Communicate professionally with property managers, residents, and company leadership.
• Document completed work and promptly report any concerns or additional repairs needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant resurfacing, refinishing, or professional spray-coating experience preferred.
• Experience with bathtub, shower, or tile resurfacing strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with HVLP spray guns and professional coating application techniques.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, coating adhesion, masking, and finishing.
• Ability to troubleshoot coating issues and deliver consistent results.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout the Portland/Vancouver metro area.
• Must have basic tools required for the position.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.

Candidates with professional automotive, industrial, or cabinet spray-finishing experience are also encouraged to apply, particularly those interested in developing their skills in tub and tile resurfacing.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
