A day in the life:

The Tugger Operator is responsible for safely operating a powered tugger to transport carts containing materials, parts, supplies, or waste throughout the manufacturing facility. This role supports efficient material movement while following designated routes, traffic rules, and equipment safety requirements.

What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member

• Operate a powered tugger to transport carts throughout the manufacturing facility safely and efficiently.
• Connect and disconnect carts and ensure loads are secure before transport.
• Pick up and deliver materials, parts, supplies, or waste to designated areas.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, speed limits, and pedestrian and vehicle traffic rules.
• Perform required pre-use equipment inspections, including brakes, steering, horn, hitch, battery, and safety devices.
• Report equipment damage or malfunctions and discontinue use of unsafe equipment.
• Maintain required records of material movement and equipment activity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
• All other duties assigned.

What you’ll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member

• Previous experience operating a tugger or similar material-handling equipment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and familiarity with industrial safety practices.
• Must comply with company policies and applicable safety requirements.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
