Tunnel Specialist

• Oversee the safe and efficient excavation of tunnels, ensuring compliance with geological surveys and engineering designs.
• Implement and monitor advanced tunneling techniques, such as TBM operation or drill and blast methods, to optimize progress and safety.
• Conduct rigorous safety inspections and risk assessments throughout the tunneling process, proactively identifying and mitigating hazards.
• Manage and coordinate specialized equipment and machinery, including tunnel boring machines, ventilation systems, and concrete spraying units.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum degree qualified in civil engineering or equivalent. Professionally qualified (CEng, MICE or equivalent) with at least 15 years' experience in delivering tunneling projects of a similar nature, including TBM and SEM construction methods
