At Tunnel Wash, we love cars, but great customer service matters just as much.

We’re looking for someone who naturally smiles, confidently greets customers, enjoys helping people, and wants every customer to leave thinking: “That was easy, friendly and a great experience. I’ll be back.”

We’re on the hunt for a high-energy, customer-focused Greeter to join our busy Harewood Tunnel Wash team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being active, takes pride in doing things properly, and understands how much a great first impression matters.

Hours & Balance

• Operating hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Sunday
• Public holidays: We’re closed, so you get them off
• A mix of weekday and weekend availability is required

About the Role

You’ll be one of the first people our customers see and a key part of making sure every visit runs smoothly.

Your role will include:

• Welcoming customers: Greeting every customer in a friendly, confident and genuine way.
• Guiding the wash experience: Helping drivers through the process and making their visit simple, safe and stress-free.
• Vehicle preparation: Preparing vehicles in the pre-wash area to ensure they’re ready for the automated tunnel wash.
• Helping customers: Answering questions and resolving minor issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintaining high standards: Taking pride in the presentation of the site, the quality of the wash and the overall customer experience.
• Supporting the team: Taking initiative, helping teammates and keeping standards high, including when the manager isn’t on site.

• Great with people: You’re approachable, friendly and comfortable talking to all kinds of customers.
• High energy: You enjoy a busy, active role and aren’t looking to sit behind a desk.
• Calm under pressure: You can stay positive and professional when the site gets busy.
• Reliable: Your team can count on you to turn up, get stuck in and do the job properly.
• Initiative: You notice what needs doing and don’t always need to be asked.
• Tech confident: You’re comfortable learning and using computer-based site systems.
• Experience: Customer service, retail or hospitality experience would be an advantage.

No car wash experience is required. We’ll train you in our systems and processes. What matters most is your attitude, reliability and ability to connect with customers.
