Responsibilities

• Operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and load & unload heavy materials safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory by accurately barcode scanning for logistics, conducting regular stock counts, and updating the warehouse management system.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders using order picker equipment while adhering to safety standards in production and warehouse distribution procedures.
• Assist in shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against documentation, and ensuring proper storage of goods.
• Perform routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance for repairs needed on forklifts or other material handling equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and forklift safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
• Support warehouse management with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, stacking pallets, and organizing storage areas for optimal space utilization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks within a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management systems and barcode scanning technology.
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques including manual handling and heavy lifting best practices.
• Familiarity with safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, or order specifications.
• Previous experience in shipping & receiving tasks or warehouse distribution is highly desirable.
• Valid certification for forklift operation; additional certifications like warehouse supervisor experience or warehouse management system training are a plus.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
