Responsibilities

• Manage classroom environments effectively to foster positive behavior, focus, and respect among students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on progress and discuss strategies for improvement.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and instructional activities for ongoing assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and educational specialists to ensure inclusive practices for students with special needs or those requiring additional support.
• Stay current with educational best practices, including advancements in learning technology and curriculum development techniques.

Skills

• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to various age groups and learning styles.
• Proficiency with learning technology platforms that support remote or hybrid tutoring sessions.
• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children, adults, or students with special educational needs.
• Excellent classroom management skills that foster a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of childcare principles combined with classroom experience to support young learners’ social-emotional development.
• Ability to adapt instructional methods for students with diverse abilities, including those in special education programs.
• Effective communication skills to clearly convey concepts and motivate learners of all ages.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
