Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in specific subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement to develop customized learning plans
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment that motivates students to excel academically
• Communicate progress regularly with students, parents, or guardians to ensure transparency and support
• Utilize various educational resources and tools to enhance learning experiences
• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships with students

Experience

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with students with SEMH or special education needs
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and listen actively to student concerns
• Experience working with children or young learners is highly desirable
• Knowledge of effective instructional techniques and educational best practices
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches based on individual student requirements

Pay: £28.00-£35.00 per hour
