What they need
Green Island UFSD is seeking a tutor for $30/hour.. Candidates MUST have a NYS Teaching Certification.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum.
Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and activities.
Qualifications:
Experience working with students, preferably in a classroom or tutoring setting.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject(s) being tutored.
Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with students of different ages and backgrounds.
Proficiency in using learning technology and educational resources.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
