Tutor Kimia

About the role

This is a Chemistry Tutor position focused on teaching Chemistry according to curriculum and student needs, particularly for preparation for Chemistry Olympiad (OSN Kimia) competitions.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry materials according to curriculum and student needs, particularly for OSN Kimia preparation
• Develop modules, teaching materials, practice questions, and explanations of Chemistry topics
• Teach basic to advanced chemistry concepts, including stoichiometry, atomic structure, chemical bonding, thermochemistry, kinetics, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, electrochemistry, and organic chemistry
• Guide students in solving calculation and chemistry analysis problems systematically
• Train critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities through practice questions
• Develop interactive learning methods suited to students' ability levels
• Evaluate learning outcomes and monitor student progress regularly
• Collaborate with the academic team in developing materials, question banks, and olympiad coaching programs

About you

• Minimum S1 (Bachelor's) degree in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, or related field
• Master basic and advanced Chemistry concepts appropriate to the teaching level
• Understand OSN Kimia materials and question characteristics (valued)
• Able to develop modules, practice questions, and explanations systematically and accurately
• Strong analytical, calculation, and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teaching skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Able to use digital learning media
• Careful, disciplined, creative, and able to work collaboratively with a team
• Teaching experience, olympiad coaching, or Chemistry competition achievements (valued)
