Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions tailored to students’ individual learning styles and needs.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials and lesson plans that align with educational standards and student goals.
• Utilize innovative learning technology to enhance instruction and engagement during online or in-person sessions.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize understanding and retention.
• Support students preparing for standardized tests such as the SAT by delivering targeted tutoring in relevant subjects.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that respects cultural diversity and promotes positive classroom management.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and caregivers to track student growth and address any learning challenges proactively.

Skills

• Strong background in curriculum development and instructional adaptability across multiple subjects including science, math, English language arts, and early childhood education.
• Proven experience with tutoring or teaching in online instruction environments using various learning technologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Expertise in working with children, adolescents, or adult learners in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
• Knowledge of different learning styles and techniques for adapting instruction accordingly.
• Experience developing lesson plans that incorporate writing skills, classroom management strategies, and special education accommodations if needed.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate students, foster engagement, and support their academic growth through effective teaching methods.
