,Role & responsibilities

To oversee all human resources functions, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff; managing employee relations, performance, and compensation and benefits; developing and implementing HR strategies; and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

• Recruitment and onboarding: Oversee the hiring process from job posting and screening to interviewing and selection. Manage the onboarding process for new employees.
• Employee Relations and Engagement: Act as a liaison between employees and management, helping to resolve conflicts. Develop and implement programs to improve employee engagement and retention.
• Performance management: Manage performance appraisal systems and guide on performance-related issues.
• Compensation and benefits: Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits packages, including payroll and compliance.
• Training and development: Develop and implement training programs to support employee growth and business needs.
• Strategy and compliance: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals. Stay up to date on labour laws and ensure company policies and procedures are compliant.
• HR metrics and reporting: Track HR KPIs, analyse data, and provide reports to senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in a similar HR role.
• Strong understanding of labour laws and HR best practices.
• People-oriented with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
• Experience with HR systems and databases.
• A bachelors degree in human resources or a related field is typically required.
