We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Tire Technician (Tire Man) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tire maintenance, repair, fitting, rotation, and retreading activities while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tire fitting, mounting, balancing, and removal for various vehicles and equipment.
• Roll new rubber treads (camelbacks) over tire casings and mold semi-raw rubber treads onto buffed casings during the retreading process.
• Rotate tires to different positions on vehicles using hand tools and equipment.
• Repair punctured tubeless tires by inserting adhesive materials and rubber plugs.
• Remove and separate tube tires from wheels using rubber mallets, metal bars, or mechanical tire changers.
• Unbolt and remove wheels from vehicles using lug wrenches and other hand or power tools.
• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns, recommending appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Assist mechanics and workshop personnel as required.
• Report daily activities, issues, and incidents to the Supervisor.
• Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management and contribute to overall team objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Tire Technician, Tire Fitter, or Tire Man.
• Knowledge of tire repair, replacement, balancing, and retreading techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and tire-changing equipment safely.
• Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting and manual work.
• Basic understanding of workshop safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
