Tyre Technician

Solid Plus is part of the National Tyre & Wheel Group (NTAW), Australasia's largest tyre, wheel, and accessory wholesaler. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated Tyre Technician to join our Christchurch team.

Whether you're an experienced tyre fitter or someone with strong mechanical aptitude looking to develop a specialised trade, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

You will work closely with our customers to provide tyre management solutions, including:

• Monitoring fleet tyre performance

• Inspecting and diagnosing tyre and wheel issues

• Fleet checks and preventative maintenance

• Maintaining accurate service records

• Delivering outstanding customer service

• Working safely and in accordance with company procedures

What We're Looking For

• Tyre fitting experience preferred but not essential
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver's license - Class 1 for a minimum of 6 months
• Physically fit and safety focused
• Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Industrial solid tyre fitting experience would be ideal
• Certificate II in Tyre Fitting
• Forklift License
• Class 2 License
• Heavy vehicle experience
