Keep Every Journey on Track – Tyre Technician at Halliwell Jones (Warrington) Ltd

At Halliwell Jones, the road never stops, and neither does your impact. As a Tyre Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping vehicles performing at their best by identifying issues and taking action to resolve them. From fitting new tyres to carrying out alloy wheel repairs, your work will help ensure every customer leaves ready for the road ahead.

This role is based at our Warrington centre for someone who thrives on precision, speed, and seeing results. You’ll be hands-on, working alongside a team that respects skill and values efficiency, with every repair you carry out contributing to a safer, smoother drive for our customers.

What we can offer you

  • Time to Unwind – Enjoy 22 days’ holiday, increasing to 25 days with length of service, plus your birthday off to celebrate!
  • Drive the brand – Access to a new car at a reduced cost through our salary sacrifice Employee Car Scheme (availability, terms, conditions and eligibility criteria apply)
  • Work Where People Matter – A friendly, family-run business with a supportive team culture
  • Grow With Us – Ongoing learning and a clear path to progression
  • Enjoy Your Environment – Work in a modern, high-spec facility designed for excellence
  • ️Security and Peace of Mind – Benefit from our Life Assurance Scheme

Your Responsibilities

  • Carry out minor alloy wheel repairs where the damage is suitable for repair.
  • Inspect tyres, produce inspection reports and identify repair or replacement requirements.
  • Repair or replace tyres as required, maintain tyre stock levels and report any discrepancies to the Bodyshop Manager immediately.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, cost-effectively and to the company’s required standards.

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of all tyre products and ability to make recommendations of products when required.
  • Excellent customer service and organisation skills.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and be a team player.
  • Contribute to ‘good housekeeping’ routines in the workshop.
  • Full valid UK driving licence
