Job Summary

Delta Gulf General Transport is looking for a skilled and experienced Tyreman to join our vehicle maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tyre inspection, fitting, removal, repair, rotation, balancing, and maintaining the tyres of company vehicles and transport fleets.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect tyres for wear, damage, punctures, cracks, and other safety issues.
• Remove and install tyres on trucks, buses, light vehicles, trailers, and other fleet vehicles.
• Repair punctures and damaged tyres where repair is safe and appropriate.
• Perform tyre rotation and replacement according to maintenance requirements.
• Check and maintain correct tyre pressure.
• Inspect wheel rims, valves, and related components for damage or defects.
• Perform tyre balancing and wheel-related maintenance when required.
• Monitor tyre condition and report unsafe or damaged tyres to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of tyre replacements, repairs, and usage.
• Follow proper procedures when handling heavy-duty tyres and workshop equipment.
• Maintain tyre tools, machines, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Support the workshop team with other tyre-related maintenance duties when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Tyreman, Tyre Technician, or similar position.
• Experience working with heavy vehicles, trucks, buses, trailers, and fleet vehicles is preferred.
• Good knowledge of tyre fitting, removal, repair, rotation, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of tyre sizes, pressure requirements, tread wear, and tyre condition.
• Experience using tyre-changing machines and workshop tools.
• Ability to identify tyre and wheel-related problems.
• Basic knowledge of wheel balancing is an advantage.
• Ability to work safely with heavy-duty tyres and equipment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet workshop schedules.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• UAE/GCC workshop experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• ITI, vocational training, or certification in Tyre Service, Automotive Maintenance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
