UAV Data Annotator / CAD Draughtsman (Topographic Mapping)

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare topographic maps and CAD drawings using UAV orthomosaics, DGPS points and Total Station data.

· Annotate and label UAV imagery and maps, including boundaries, roads, buildings, land parcels and other features.

· Import, process and plot survey points (coordinates, levels) in CAD.

· Digitise features such as roads, buildings, drains, trees, utilities and water bodies.

· Draw contours, spot levels and generate base maps with proper layers, symbols and legends.

· Add dimensions, annotations, labels and place names as per project requirements.

· Review and validate annotations and drawings against field data for accuracy and completeness, and correct errors.

· Coordinate with survey and mapping teams to clarify field notes and project specifications.

· Maintain organised project files, drawing versions and records.

Required Skills

· Proficiency in AutoCAD (6 months to 3 years of experience).

· Understanding of survey data: DGPS and Total Station coordinates, levels and field books.

· Good drafting skills and strong attention to detail.

· Experience with Civil 3D, QGIS, Global Mapper or similar software.

· Familiarity with UAV orthomosaics, point clouds or DEMs.

· Experience preparing contour maps or DTM/TIN surfaces.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics or a related field. Freshers with strong CAD skills and survey knowledge may also apply.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
