Job Title: Jetting Assistant

Reporting to Lead Jetter

Assisting the Jetting Team

Job Summary

A Jetting Assistant will conduct general duties under the supervision of our Lead Jetter, in order to make up a full jetting team. The Jetting Assistant will undertake jetting using a jetting gun, in order to be more proficient – the individual is likely to operate the machine / act as Safety Standby. Jetting Assistant will undertake general industrial cleaning duties as required by the company.

Responsibilities Undertakes high pressure jetting work as part of a team. Will operate as third man, assisting in operating machinery and monitoring the area as a Safety Standby. Complies with jetting rotation duties as directed by the Lead Jetter. Will undertake jetting, (under supervision). Ensure that equipment is checked and safe to use and correct PPE is worn at all times and looked after.

Understand all Health & Safety requirements for each job to ensure safe working. Interface professionally and positively with clients whilst onsite. General industrial cleaning activities, as required. Undertakes any reasonable instruction required by Management.

Essential Training / Requirements Desirable (but not essential)

Water Jetting Association training qualification (We can assist with all of thise).

Confined Space certification

CCNSG or a CSCS card.

Medical Requirement Face fit for full / half mask, where appropriate.

Confined space work is a requirement and working at height is too.

There will be a 6-month review whereby if performance is on target and all training has been successfully completed then the hourly rate will increase to £15.80 per hour. Once all allocated training has been fully completed for the CCNSG certification we will test and sign off as a fully competent Jetter with an hourly rate of £16.80 per hour.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.0 per week

Experience:

• High pressure Jetting: 1 year (preferred)
• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
