UI Engineer - 12 Month FTC

As a UI Engineer, you will be at the intersection of design and technology, responsible for developing engaging and user-friendly interface components for our games. You will collaborate closely with artists and designers to transform concepts into functional elements while ensuring optimal performance and a cohesive user experience.

Key Duties Include

• Implement and maintain user interface systems within the game engine, ensuring high-quality performance
• Collaborate with design and art teams to create and optimize UI elements and components
• Translate design mockups and prototypes into functional user interfaces
• Optimize UI layouts for different screen sizes and resolutions
• Debug and troubleshoot UI-related issues throughout the development process
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in UI development

Requirements

• Previous experience as a UI Engineer or similar role in the gaming or tech industry
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++ and C# for UI development
• Familiar with game engines, preferably Unreal Engine or Unity
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for video games and keen attention to detail
