- Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled UI Test Engineer with hands-on experience in functional and automation testing of web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in UI testing, test automation frameworks, and defect management processes.
- Key Responsibilities
- •Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web-based applications.
- •Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- •Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
- •Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- •Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- •Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-related feedback.
- •Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and timely project delivery.
- •Prepare test reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.
- Required Skills
- •Experience in UI/Web Application Testing.
- •Hands-on experience with Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- •Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- •Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
- •Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman is an added advantage.
- •Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- •Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- •Experience working in Agile development environments.
- •Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions is a plus.
