UI UX Designer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer who will lead the user experience design thinking and develop comprehensive UI/UX design strategies by using latest trends and methodologies for both design and user testing. You are an independent thinker who knows how to step into customer's shoes and help visualize the business opportunity to show customer value. Your goal will be to work with business teams on create impactful designs that capture's our customer-centric vision in our direct and partner channels. You demonstrate high quality design practices, conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks and illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.

Key responsibilities

• Visualize complex information and concepts in simple and effective way in design channels and touchpoints
• Participate in a variety of design projects from concept to completion
• Understand project requirements and concepts, produce engaging design solutions
• Develop UI mock-ups and Hi-Fi prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and create original graphic designs
• Produce final design solutions ranging from banners, interfaces, presentations, info graphics in the format of drafts to prototype
• Pitch creative ideas that enhance projects
• Collaborate with team members to launch designs
• Take on special design tasks to support multiple projects
• Kickstart and facilitate design project discussions / workshops with users and stakeholders from business, tech and marketing
• Conduct user research, usability testing and gain deep customer insights to co-create with users and stakeholders

About you

• 5-8 years or more experience in UX/UI space ideally in financial services space
• Experience with design software (e.g. InVision, Figma), graphics editing tools (e.g. Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator) and user journey tool (e.g. smaply, mural)
• Experience in sprint participation, prototyping tools, understanding in design thinking methodologies
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, mobile-first, responsive design, bootstrap
• Storytelling skill via presentation (PowerPoint)
