What they need
UI/UX Designer can turn complex product and business requirements into simple, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences across mobile and web platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in user experience design, user journeys, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, usability, and Figma. The role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders from discovery through implementation and continuous optimization.
The designer should also be comfortable using AI-powered design, research, and rapid prototyping tools to accelerate workflows and improve design quality.
Experience designing fintech, banking, payments, lending, digital wallets, or other transaction-heavy products will be considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
1. User Experience & Product Design
- Design intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences for mobile and web products.
- Translate business requirements and complex workflows into simple and effective user experiences.
- Define information architecture, navigation, interaction patterns, and overall experience flows.
- Create high-fidelity interfaces in Figma while maintaining strong UX and visual design standards.
- Consider different user states, edge cases, errors, permissions, and transactional outcomes.
2. User Journeys, Flows & Wireframing
- Map end-to-end user journeys to identify user goals, pain points, friction, and improvement opportunities.
- Create user flows, task flows, wireframes, and information architecture for new products and features.
- Use modern wireframing and ideation tools such as Figma, FigJam, Relume, Uizard, and similar AI-assisted platforms.
- Use product data, stakeholder insights, user feedback, and research findings to continuously improve journeys.
- Simplify complex workflows while balancing user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
3. Prototyping, Testing & Validation
- Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate journeys, interactions, and product behavior.
- Validate concepts through usability testing, stakeholder reviews, user feedback, and product data.
- Use rapid prototyping tools where appropriate to move quickly from idea → wireframe → prototype → validation.
- Clearly document interactions, states, validations, and edge cases for development teams.
4. Design Systems & Developer Handoff
- Build, maintain, and improve scalable design systems and reusable Figma components.
- Maintain consistency across typography, spacing, components, layouts, interaction patterns, and responsive behavior.
- Create developer-ready designs, specifications, assets, and prototypes.
- Collaborate with Engineering and QA during implementation and review developed experiences for design accuracy.
5. AI-Enabled Design
- Use modern AI tools such as Figma AI/Figma Make, FigJam AI, Relume, Uizard, Framer AI, Google Stitch, Lovable, v0, and similar emerging platforms for ideation, wireframing, prototyping, UX exploration, and rapid experimentation.
- Use AI to accelerate user research synthesis, journey mapping, UX writing, design exploration, and prototype creation while applying independent design judgment.
- Explore AI-native product experiences including conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations, personalization, automation, and AI assistants.
- Understand AI UX principles such as transparency, user control, feedback, error handling, trust, and explainability.
- Continuously explore emerging AI capabilities that can improve both the design process and end-user experience.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate in product discovery, requirement discussions, design reviews, and implementation reviews.
- Clearly communicate the reasoning behind UX and interaction decisions.
- Balance user needs with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Figma, FigJam, Auto Layout, prototyping, components, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, usability, and responsive design.
- Hands-on experience creating user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted wireframing and prototyping tools such as Relume, Uizard, Figma Make, Stitch, Framer AI, Lovable, or v0.
- Ability to rapidly move from product requirement → user journey → wireframe → prototype → final design.
- Ability to simplify complex and transaction-heavy workflows.
- Strong visual design, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of professional experience in UX Design, Product Design, or UI/UX Design.
- Demonstrated experience designing and shipping mobile and web applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, final UI, and design systems — not just visual screens.
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams from discovery through production.
- Experience with usability testing, user research, or data-informed design is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in fintech, digital banking, payments, lending, BNPL, digital wallets, insurance, e-commerce, or other transaction-heavy platforms will be a strong advantage.
Experience designing journeys involving onboarding, KYC/KYB, financial transactions, repayments, payments, dashboards, verification, or financial applications will be particularly relevant.
Hands-on experience with AI-powered design, wireframing, prototyping, or AI-native product experiences will be considered an additional advantage.
