Position: UI/UX Designer – Lending Platforms

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer with strong expertise in designing customer-centric digital experiences, preferably within the BFSI, banking, fintech, or lending domain. The candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive, efficient, and scalable user experiences across Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Lending Platforms, Customer Onboarding Journeys, Mobile Applications, Web Portals, and Internal Operations Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Experience Design

• Design end-to-end customer journeys for lending, onboarding, KYC, credit assessment, and disbursement processes.
• Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Simplify complex banking and lending workflows into intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
• Define interaction patterns, usability standards, and UX principles.

2. Customer & Business Research

• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to understand customer and business requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for UX improvement.
• Work closely with Product, Business, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders.
• Translate business and user requirements into effective design solutions.

3. Design Systems & Governance

• Create, develop, and maintain enterprise-level design systems.
• Define UI standards, style guides, reusable components, and interaction patterns.
• Ensure design consistency across web, mobile, LOS, LMS, and other lending platforms.
• Establish and maintain UX governance and design standards.

4. Platform Modernization

• Lead or contribute to UI/UX modernization initiatives for LOS, LMS, and lending applications.
• Improve customer onboarding, credit assessment, loan application, and disbursement journeys.
• Identify usability gaps in legacy systems and recommend modern, scalable design solutions.
• Improve both customer experience and internal operational productivity.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in UI/UX Design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with Adobe XD and/or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of Design Systems and Design Governance.
• Information Architecture.
• Interaction Design.
• User Research.
• Wireframing and Prototyping.
• Responsive Web and Mobile Design.
• Strong understanding of usability and accessibility principles.
• Ability to create user journeys, workflows, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
