What they need

Key Responsibilities

  • Design user interfaces for mobile applications, responsive web applications, admin portals, dashboards, and internal systems.
  • Translate business and product requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Review existing product flows and identify opportunities to improve usability, consistency, and overall user experience.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts to understand requirements and clarify user journeys before development begins.
  • Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately.
  • Conduct design reviews during development and provide feedback on UI implementation.
  • Create and maintain reusable design systems, UI components, styles, patterns, and design guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency across different modules, platforms, screen sizes, and product releases.
  • Design clear experiences for important system states such as loading, empty states, error handling, validation, success/failure messages, permission handling, and confirmation flows.
  • Consider accessibility, readability, usability, responsive behaviour, and localisation when designing interfaces.
  • Support UX improvements using feedback from users, stakeholders, QA findings, production issues, and product analytics where available.
  • Prepare design specifications and assets required for development handoff.
  • Maintain proper Figma structure, naming conventions, components, variants, and design documentation.
  • Participate in requirement discussions, design reviews, sprint planning, and product improvement discussions.
  • Proactively identify UX gaps rather than only designing based on predefined requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Product Design, or a related field.
  • Candidates with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design are preferred.
  • Relevant experience in UI/UX or digital product design.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping, Design Libraries, and Developer Handoff.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design, information architecture, user flows, interaction design, responsive design, and mobile design principles.
  • Good visual design fundamentals, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour, layout, and consistency.
  • Able to convert complex workflows into simple and understandable user experiences.
  • Able to explain and justify design decisions based on usability and product requirements rather than visual preference alone.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and able to identify inconsistencies between design and actual implementation.
  • Able to manage multiple features or projects within delivery timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

  • FinTech, e-wallet, payment, banking, financial services, or Super App products
  • Designing transactional flows such as registration and onboarding, eKYC, login and authentication, wallet, payments, QR payments, transfers, transaction history, refunds, and merchant or admin portals.
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum software development environment.
  • Understanding of iOS and Android design conventions.
  • Experience with design systems involving multiple products or brands.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or frontend development constraints.
  • Experience conducting usability testing, user interviews, or UX research.
  • Experience using analytics or behavioural data to improve product design.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates should provide a portfolio demonstrating:

  • Mobile and/or web application design
  • User flows and UX problem-solving
  • Wireframes to final UI progression
  • Interactive prototypes
  • Design systems or reusable components
  • Examples explaining the candidate's individual contribution to the project

We are particularly interested in understanding how you think and solve product problems, not only the visual of the final screens.

  • Healthcare Claim (Dental, Optical and more)
  • Group Insurance Coverage
