UI/UX Engineer

About the role

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking a talented UI/UX Engineer to join our design and architecture team on a contract basis. Based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, this role offers an exciting opportunity to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that drive our digital products forward. As a UI/UX Engineer, you will be at the intersection of design and technology, translating user needs into elegant, functional interfaces that users love. What you'll be doing

• Design and prototype user interfaces for web and digital applications, ensuring they are visually appealing and user-centric
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
• Create wireframes, mockups and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard design tools
• Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across products
• Optimise user interfaces for accessibility, performance and cross-platform compatibility
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
• Document design decisions, user flows and specifications for development handoff

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design or a related design discipline
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, interaction design and information architecture
• Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools, with the ability to create interactive prototypes
• Solid knowledge of web design best practices, responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Portfolio demonstrating previous UI/UX projects and design thinking process
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
• Preferred: At least 5 years experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or design-to-code workflows
• Preferred: Familiarity with user research methodologies and analytics tools
• Preferred: Experience working in an agile development environment
