Ultrasound Tech

Mad River Community Hospital seeks an experienced Ultrasound Technician. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for ultrasound examinations utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment; provides direct patient care to patients of all ages, including transportation for services; contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care; participates in the orientation and training of new employees; and covers shifts and call as needed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited training program in diagnostic medical sonography
• A minimum of one year of experience as an Ultrasound Technician
• Echocardiogram experience required
• RDMS certification preferred
• Current BLS certification or obtain within three months of hire
• Experience of varied technical skills specifically in ultrasound preferredSalary is based on years of experience.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
