Ultrasound Technician, PRN

Responsibilities Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and invasive procedures, ensuring adherence to standards. Provide patient services across all age groups, demonstrating knowledge of anatomy and pathology. Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.

Key Duties

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures proficiently on patients of all ages, including patient positioning, protocol selection, and equipment utilization.
• Follow established imaging protocols and guidelines, maintaining quality standards.
• Deliver age-specific patient care and education.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and skill proficiency.

Qualifications Education

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or equivalent experience as per IAC standards.

Work Experience

• No experience required; 1 year preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible; BLS required; ARDMS registration for Breast Ultrasound can be through ARRT or ARDMS.
