Un armed Security Guard/ Grave yard shift

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises, including access points, to deter unauthorized entry.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent disturbances.
• Provide assistance in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during emergencies or investigations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security preferred.
• Experience in conflict management or crisis intervention is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A background in military service or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
