Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety compliance.
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee property and detect potential threats.
• Manage access control systems by verifying identities and authorizations for visitors, contractors, and staff.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies following established procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences.
• Perform background checks on visitors or vendors as required to maintain a secure environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions and addressing their concerns professionally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology, CCTV operation, and access control systems.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and emergency response procedures is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Strong conflict de-escalation and conflict management skills to handle tense situations calmly and effectively.
• Familiarity with security regulations, fire safety protocols, and compliance standards.
• Excellent observation skills with attention to detail for patrolling and visual inspections.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; ability to perform heavy lifting when required.

Pay: $24.22 - $35.17 per hour
