Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior.
• Control access to the facility using access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by following established procedures, including performing first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy.
• Assist with conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly and professionally while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
• Support emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols, AED operation, and heavy lifting during evacuations or rescue efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security operations or related fields such as military or law enforcement is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety regulations.
• Strong skills in incident report writing, conflict management, and compliance with security regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences.
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, patrol large areas confidently, and respond swiftly during emergencies.
