Unarmed Security Guard

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of attendees at various events in and around the Auburn area. This role involves providing a visible security presence at Greek events, sporting events, school functions, and other gatherings. The ideal candidate will be attentive, professional, and capable of maintaining a secure environment while offering excellent customer service to event participants.

Duties

• Monitor event premises to prevent unauthorized access and maintain order during events.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to appropriate authorities promptly.
• Assist with crowd control to ensure smooth flow and safety of all attendees.
• Provide a welcoming and professional presence, offering assistance and directions as needed.
• Enforce event policies and safety protocols in a respectful manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of the designated areas to ensure ongoing security coverage.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
• Document incidents accurately and complete required reports following each event.

Requirements

• Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to remain alert, attentive, and professional throughout the duration of events.
• Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event-specific schedules.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or certifications.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 20.0 per week
