Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity, hazards, or security breaches using physical inspections.
• Manage access control
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established protocols, including performing first aid, CPR, AED operation, or calling emergency services as needed.
• Write clear and comprehensive incident reports documenting any security concerns, disturbances, or safety incidents encountered during shifts.
• Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly and professionally while maintaining a safe environment.
• Support physical security measures through manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is preferred; willingness to obtain certifications if not already held.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively while adhering to safety standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write detailed incident reports accurately.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and fire safety protocols.
• Demonstrated conflict management skills with a focus on de-escalation techniques.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
