Unarmed Security Guard

Defend Pro Group LLC is seeking dependable, professional Security Officers to join our team. This position is responsible for providing access control and maintaining a safe environment at a residential community.

We are looking for officers who are reliable, alert, and committed to showing up for every scheduled shift. This is not a position for someone looking to sit in a guard shack. Officers must remain attentive and actively perform their assigned duties throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Control vehicle access through the entrance gate.
• Check in all visitors and authorized vehicles.
• Record vehicle tag numbers and required information accurately.
• Maintain detailed activity logs.
• Enforce property rules and security procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background screening.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
• Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
