Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the property to identify potential security risks and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity in key areas continuously.
• Control access points using access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of visitors and staff.
• Write detailed incident reports for any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities observed during shifts.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical incidents or safety hazards, following established procedures.
• Assist visitors and employees courteously while maintaining a professional presence on-site.
• Perform background checks on new personnel or vendors as required by security policies.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation for effective monitoring.
• Familiarity with physical security measures, including manual handling and heavy lifting when necessary.
• Ability to perform first aid procedures, CPR, AED operation, and respond confidently in emergency situations.
• Experience with incident report writing and documenting security-related events accurately.
• Understanding of law enforcement procedures and conflict de-escalation techniques to manage tense situations peacefully.
• Proficiency in using access control systems and performing background checks for personnel screening.
• Knowledge of fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and compliance with security regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor; capable of managing conflict management effectively.
