Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for monitoring the environment, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure atmosphere for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive approach will help prevent incidents, respond effectively to emergencies, and maintain compliance with security protocols. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance footage continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, accidents, or unusual activities observed during shifts.
• Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as needed to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Enforce security regulations while demonstrating conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills to handle tense situations professionally.

Experience

• Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and access control systems is essential.
• Training in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures is required or preferred.
• Familiarity with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety standards is advantageous.
• Experience in incident report writing and performing background checks will strengthen your application.
• A background in military service or related fields can provide valuable skills for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform physical security duties with professionalism and attention to detail is necessary.

Pay: $23.72 - $35.57 per hour
