Job Overview

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and highly skilled Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The Unarmed Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, property, and assets.

The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, able to remain calm under pressure, and capable of handling security situations with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and protect assigned property, personnel, and assets
• Conduct security patrols and surveillance
• Monitor CCTV cameras and other security equipment
• Identify and report suspicious or unauthorized activity
• Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies
• Assist with conflict management and de-escalation
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and security procedures
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and the public
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must possess valid Identification
• Must possess a valid Guard Card
• First Aid & CPR certification preferred
• Previous experience in security, surveillance, loss prevention, or law enforcement preferred
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent conflict-management and de-escalation skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Experience operating CCTV systems and other security equipment preferred
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
