Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Unarmed Security Guard to oversee the safety and security of our premises during the weekend shifts. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment, monitoring activities, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a visible security presence and responding promptly to any incidents or concerns. Reliability is a key requirement for this position, as well as the ability to work independently during scheduled weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security issues
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to ensure ongoing safety of the premises
• Check identification and credentials of visitors and staff entering the facility
• Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations during shifts
• Enforce facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding security concerns or incidents
• Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions immediately
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors or staff as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor

Experience

• Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
• Must have reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Good communication skills and professional appearance
