Job Description

Neoteric Security Services is currently hiring professional Unarmed Security Officers to support security operations at a large aerospace facility in Long Beach, California.

This position is ideal for individuals with a military, law enforcement, security, or public-safety background who are comfortable working in a professional, high-security environment.

Security Officers will be responsible for maintaining a professional security presence, controlling access to the facility, conducting patrols, monitoring security systems, and protecting personnel, property, and sensitive aerospace assets.

Responsibilities

• Control employee, visitor, contractor, and vendor access
• Verify identification and facility credentials
• Conduct interior and exterior security patrols
• Monitor CCTV and security systems
• Maintain gate and facility security
• Conduct vehicle and perimeter patrols as assigned
• Document security activity and maintain accurate daily logs
• Prepare clear and professional incident reports
• Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies
• Maintain awareness of unusual or suspicious activity
• Communicate professionally with employees, management, visitors, and contractors
• Follow site-specific security procedures and post orders

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Ability to write clear and detailed reports
• Comfortable using computers, CCTV systems, smartphones, and electronic reporting systems
• Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods
• Dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• U.S. Military / Military Veteran
• Law Enforcement
• Aerospace or defense security
• Corporate security
• Government or military installations
• Access control and CCTV operations
• Security patrol operations

Prior military service is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This is a professional aerospace environment requiring officers who are dependable, observant, disciplined, and comfortable interacting with employees, engineers, contractors, vendors, and visitors.

Officers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and represent both Neoteric Security Services and the client to a high standard.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
