Underground Operators - Charge Up

For the right person, there is also an opportunity to join the roaming Charge Up team, offering variety and the chance to gain experience across multiple underground sites.

The Role

Working alongside underground mining and drill and blast teams, you will support production and development charging activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating Mobile Charging Units (MCUs) and associated blasting equipment
• Supporting underground production and development charging
• Maintaining safety and compliance standards
• Working collaboratively with your crew and site customers

What You’ll Need

Previous underground production and/or development charging experience is essential.

We’re also looking for:

• Electronic blasting experience
• A Heavy Rigid (HR) manual driver’s licence
• A Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC), or the ability to obtain one
• A Dangerous Goods Driver’s Licence (DGDL), or the ability to obtain one
• A reliable approach, strong safety awareness and a commitment to teamwork
• The ability to work independently underground
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance
