What they need

About Us Aurelia Metals Limited is an ASX-listed, Australian-owned gold and base metals company based in NSW. We operate the Peak and Federation underground mines and are progressing the Great Cobar Project, a high-grade copper development near Peak.

We are proud to be a WORK180 endorsed employer, with inclusion, safety, and our Values at the heart of everything we do. With one of the most prospective land positions in the Cobar Basin, we are unlocking value through discovery, development, and growth.

The Great Cobar Project, with an eight-year mine plan and strong exploration upside, will drive the next generation of growth at Aurelia and create diverse career pathways for those wanting to be part of a high-performance, forward-thinking culture.

About The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join Aurelia Metals as an Underground Training Advisor and play a key role in developing the people who power our operation.

As Aurelia continues to grow through the Great Cobar Project and our expanding mining operations, we are investing in workforce capability, safety and leadership. Reporting to the Learning & Development Superintendent, you will help shape the next generation of underground miners by delivering engaging training, assessing competency and supporting people to build successful careers in mining.

Working closely with operational leaders and employees across site, you'll be a trusted coach and mentor, helping individuals gain the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to work safely and perform at their best. From facilitating underground inductions and accredited training programs to designing learning pathways and supporting compliance requirements, you'll have a genuine impact on both individual development and operational success.

Created through an internal promotion, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team, influence how capability is built across our operation and contribute to a workplace where safety, learning and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.
