Underwriter Admin Assistant – Aviation

About the role

Provide support and administrative assistance to underwriters.

Key responsibilities

• Underwriting file creation and maintenance
• Support Senior Underwriters with preparing quotes and premium calculators using MS Office suite of tools
• Format monthly Renewal List and undertake file review and pre quote and sanctions checks
• Prepare documentation for new business, renewals, endorsements and certificates of currency (in line with authorities)
• Support Senior Underwriter with general administration duties
• Action UW premium processing and monitor tasking queues
• Any other duties which management may request

About you

• Previous insurance experience with broker or insurer an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications – Word/Excel/Outlook, PowerPoint necessary
• High level of verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in team environment
• Team player
