Your Role:

As an Indirect Auto Loan Underwriter, you will:

• Review and underwrite indirect auto loan applications in accordance with established credit guidelines.
• Evaluate applicant information and structure loan terms appropriately to make clear approve or decline decisions.
• Communicate professionally with dealerships to support and facilitate the underwriting process.
• Send income verification links to applicants once the dealership confirms readiness.
• Review and verify income results to ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Generate digital e-contract packets through the internal system following income verification approval.
• Send completed e-contract packets to dealerships accurately and within required timelines.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established underwriting and credit standards.
• Manage high-volume applications while meeting productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Experience in auto loan underwriting, consumer lending, credit analysis, or a related financial services environment.
• Strong technological literacy and confidence using digital underwriting, lending, and verification platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong independent decision-making and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective collaboration with the broader underwriting team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience with indirect auto lending or dealership finance operations.
• Familiarity with income verification processes and digital e-contracting platforms.
• Knowledge of credit policies, lending guidelines, and loan structuring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional dealership and applicant interactions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple applications and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital lending or financial systems.
