Underwriting Assistant - Technical Specialization

The Underwriting Assistant (Technical Specialization) position will provide technical policy administration support to a dynamic and driven underwriting team responsible for a comprehensive and unique multi-line garage insurance program. Responsibilities will include compliant filing and maintenance of policy documents, accurate and timely policy issuance, detailed processing of driver and employee endorsements, and diligent management of vehicle records. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn and develop expertise in all coverage forms and associated compliance requirements. They should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have the potential and desire to grow with Risk Point Garage.

• Provide administrative and organizational support in line with compliance standards
• Analyze policy information to verify consistency, and compliance with program requirements
• Receive, request, and file signed policy documents in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare, review, and issue detailed and complex garage insurance policies for multiple lines of business
• Maintain detailed records of drivers, employees, and vehicles over the entire life of a policy
• Process and organize Motor Vehicle Records to support underwriting decisions and ensure accurate policy records
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, and underwriting teams to support policy administration and workflow efficiency
• Learn and develop in-depth knowledge of policy forms and coverages
