Underwriting Executive

About the role

Handle daily administration for SME insurance schemes, including policy issuance, endorsements and renewals. Review and process SME risk submissions according to underwriting guidelines, prepare underwriting documents and coordinate internal approvals. Maintain accurate policy records and underwriting documentation while liaising with brokers, agents and clients to obtain required information.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily administration for SME insurance schemes, including policy issuance, endorsements and renewals
• Review and process SME risk submissions according to underwriting guidelines
• Prepare underwriting documents and coordinate internal approvals
• Maintain accurate policy records and underwriting documentation
• Liaise with brokers, agents and clients to obtain required information
• Handle enquiries related to SME scheme policies
• Provide administrative and operational support to the underwriting team

About you

• 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations or underwriting support
• Experience in Property or SME insurance is an advantage
• Diploma/Degree in Insurance, Business or related field preferred
• Familiar with insurance systems and Microsoft Office
• Good communication and attention to detail
