Underwriting Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Build and manage the manual underwriting team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Responsible for the overall quality management of underwriting lines. Develop underwriting procedures, document verification standards, and quality control processes.
• Oversee daily manual reviews, borrower verification, supporting document checks, and complex cases.
• Monitor underwriting efficiency, verification quality, and team productivity. Leads the team in identifying operational issues, driving corrective actions
• Work closely with the Risk team to improve manual underwriting effectiveness and credit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of experience in consumer lending underwriting or credit operations, including 1 years in team management.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual credit assessment, borrower verification, and supporting document review.
• Experience managing underwriting workflows, team performance, and quality assurance.
• Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Candidates with previous manual underwriting experience at WeFund Lending Corp, Home Credit Philippines, or similar lenders are especially welcome.
