Underwriting Support (Associate / Senior Associate)

About the role

This role involves setting up, maintaining, and validating reinsurance contract data in SAP FS-RI and related systems, managing treaty amendments and contract changes throughout the policy lifecycle, and working closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and validate reinsurance contract data in SAP FS-RI and related systems
• Manage treaty amendments, endorsements, and other contract changes throughout the policy lifecycle
• Work closely with Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, Compliance, and other stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy
• Maintain proper electronic and physical filing of contract documentation
• Support compliance with KYC and AML requirements
• Prepare and enhance operational reports, data quality controls, and process documentation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including workflow automation and process optimization
• Support testing activities, UAT, system enhancements, and migration projects as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry
• Good understanding of proportional and non-proportional reinsurance, including assumed and ceded business
• Experience with SAP FS-RI treaty setup, contract administration, or data validation is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality
• Experience in reporting, process improvement, and automation initiatives
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience supporting UAT, process documentation, or system implementation projects is an advantage
