What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial generators, transfer switches, and fire pump engines
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Communicate directly with clients, chief engineers, and internal teams
• Coordinate with the field service team and administrative staff
• Load, unload, and transport heavy tools and equipment (up to 130 lbs)
• Drive and maneuver trailers in varied conditions
• Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency, after-hours, and weekend service
• Attend company-paid continuing education and certifications
• Typical schedule is 40-60 hours per week and includes scheduled weekend work

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Generator Technician
• Solid hands-on knowledge of engines, motors, and electrical systems
• Technical degree or certification (preferred but not required)
• Willingness and ability to lift 130 lbs and work long hours as needed
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to commute to our shop location at: 4701 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222
