Unit Manager ( Food Operations )

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sodexo Malaysia Pte Ltd as a Unit Manager (Food Operations). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day food service operations at our client site in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, MY. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences and ensuring the smooth running of the food services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of the food service operation, including menu planning, inventory control, budgeting and staff scheduling
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and food hygiene regulations
3. Lead, train and develop a team of food service professionals to deliver a high-quality service
4. Monitor customer satisfaction and implement continuous improvement initiatives
5. Collaborate with the client to understand their needs and requirements
6. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage procurement processes
7. Contribute to the overall business strategy and growth of the food services division

What We're Looking For

1. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar Unit Manager or Food Service Manager role
2. Proven track record of managing food service operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
5. Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene and health regulations
6. Proficient in using food service management software and data analysis tools
7. Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving continuous improvement
