Unit Wire Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Unit Wire Technician to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Wire components and subassemblies accurately according to detailed electrical wiring diagrams.
• Solder connections with precision, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards for quality and reliability.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment to prepare parts and perform adjustments.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate proper assembly and troubleshooting.
• Conduct testing on completed units using electrical testing equipment to verify functionality and safety.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and process logs.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and mechanical assembly processes.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration within manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies and quality control procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment effectively.
• Mechanical knowledge related to component installation and unit assembly.
• Electrical experience with troubleshooting circuits using multimeters or ohmmeters is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in wiring, soldering, and assembly tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
